"The Dance" Fundraising Event
COMING SOON IN 2012: The Heyworth Education Foundation Dance!
Our foundation holds a biennial dinner, dance & auction fundraiser (called "The Dance") that the Central Illinois community has graciously supported in the past. Our next fundraiser is coming up in 2012 and we would again like to request the community's support.
The Heyworth Education Foundation is a non-profit, independent, tax-exempt corporation, founded in 1997 to provide special opportunities and experiences in support of the Heyworth School District. We would like to again ask that you consider supporting our education foundation.. Past contributions have allowed HEF to support many wonderful educational opportunities for the K - 12 teachers and students in the Heyworth School District. These educational opportunities are over and above what the District's budget could afford on its own. Donations and grants raised from The Dance are not used for a specific school "program" that would have a budget. As in the past, we are asking everyone to support the primary fundraising event, The Dance, so HEF can continue to fund new, future, educational programs that arise over the next two years.
We feel the impact of HEF is strong: the educational opportunities help to draw people to our community, which is keeping the local economy strong. Our student population continues to grow and costs continue to increase. Despite these challenges we are working hard to continue the upward spiral of success taking pace in the Heyworth School District.
HEF requests your support for this event once every two years. Through the years, The Dance fundraising event and the Foundation have grown steadily – just as the support from the community has grown. Growing contributions will help us keep on our current successful tract and will be used to fund future educational opportunities over the next two years when regular schoolbudget dollars are not available.
